NOTE:

The apartment was originally leased as a 3 ½. Unknown to me, a door to a second bedroom, which also housed the hot water tank in a closet, was sealed off to make it look like a 3 ½. A few months after moving in the hot water tank had to be replaced and the second bedroom was opened up and not resealed.

The Administration told me last week that a new tenant would be charged the same rent which I pay and if the lease is renewed next year, any rent increases would be applied to the current rent.
